How some obedient sons of God ( for not eating the forbidden fruit, of knowledge, of course) have donned the hats ( or rather turbans here, oops !) of intellectuals in our universities ! For them everything goes, with assemblage of convulated metaphors, sans any rigour and labour of Mathematics, Philosophy,Science or Social Sciences Their designations are not the matter of real concern but frightening is the corruption and 'trans-migration' of impressionable young minds in their divine hands. They are far more consequential than the drug peddlers. They can convert meaningless statements into trans-intelligible and super-sensible truth-propositions. They can translate their empirical and mundane ambitions into sublime and sacred rituals. Hence I recommend a much-deserved elevated epithet for them- The Alchemists.
